Tara has been proudly serving Western Pennsylvania for 17 years. She graduated from St. Francis University with a Bachelors Degree in Health Science in 2002, and a Masters of Physical Therapy in 2004. Tara has treated patients in diverse environments, including Hospital-based therapy, Homecare, and in an outpatient setting.
She has been able to treat people with a variety of conditions, ranging from post- orthopedic recovery, weakness and debility from hospital stays, balance deficits from falls, and neurological conditions including Parkinson’s, ALS, and stroke recovery. Tara has furthered her education by obtaining a PWR! Certification, (Parkinson’s Wellness Recovery) and multiple courses on Senior exercise and strengthening, fall prevention techniques, and neuro rehab. She has been leading a Parkinson-focused exercise class for 3 years, helping to keep these individuals active and independent. Tara enjoys helping her clients reach their full potential and provide personalized 1:1 care.
Tara lives in Plum Boro, with her husband of 16 years, Tom and their 3 children. When she isn’t running a kid to a sports practice or concert, she enjoys running, paddle boarding, and spending time outdoors with family and friends.
